Temporary arrangement, updated 18 September 2026. A flood took out the infrastructure this site ran on. While it is rebuilt, the site is served by Netlify instead of my own hardware, analytics are switched off, and the contact form is off. This page describes what is true today, not what it will say once the rebuild is done.
Analytics
Analytics are currently off. No analytics script loads on this site at the moment, so nothing about your visit is recorded by me at all.
Normally this site uses Umami, a self-hosted, cookieless analytics tool running on my own infrastructure — aggregate page views and a few interaction events, with no cookies, no cross-site tracking, no third-party ad networks, and no personal profiles. That will return when the infrastructure does.
Netlify, as the current host, keeps its own server-side access logs. I have not switched on any Netlify analytics product.
The same rule keeps third-party embeds off the site entirely — I dropped a LinkedIn badge widget because it would have loaded LinkedIn's scripts.
Contact form
The contact form is currently off, because the automation that received it went down with everything else. Nothing on this site collects your details right now. The contact page shows an email address instead, and email reaches me the ordinary way — it passes through my mail provider and lands in my mailbox. Nothing is stored in a CRM in the meantime.
When the form returns, the submission (name, email, optional company, topic, and your message) will go to n8n, guarded by Cloudflare Turnstile to filter bots, and be stored in EspoCRM. Whether n8n runs on my own hardware again or on a hosted instance is not yet decided — this page will say which before the form is switched back on. I use what you send for one thing: replying to you.
Retention & deletion
Contact submissions are kept only as long as needed to respond and follow up on the conversation, then purged. Analytics data is aggregate-only and never tied to an identifiable person. To have anything you have sent me deleted, email info@challengers.tech and it will be removed.
